OnlyWineDrinkers.com
Sorry to disappoint… or maybe not!
Let's be honest, some people landed here hoping for sexy wine labels, big bottles, and enthusiastic corkscrewing. Or even a dating site. We get it; the internet has trained us well.
The only provocative pairings or "uncork me" references you'll find on this site, however, are about wine. If you're looking to enjoy more whilst drinking less, there will be plenty of lively content, the sort you'll want to share, just like the wines we recommend.
Who is this website for?
You love wine and are naturally curious, whatever your knowledge level. You appreciate quality, stories, convivial moments, and the gastronomic associations wine brings to your life. You drink mindfully; your mindless drinking days are behind you (or you're working towards that!).

So, what’s on this website?
01
Unfiltered Reviews
Honest wine reviews based on over 30 years of wine trade experience, with recommended wines hand-picked to help you drink less but better, using two main criteria:
- worth the units (no point in drinking mediocre wine when you are trying to consume at sensible levels)
- worth the money (finding the right quality/price ratio has never been more important)
02
Random Wine Knowledge
You have a thirst for finding out more about the world of wine, but don't want to take a structured course. We'll be featuring:
- Explainer articles (e.g. sulphites in wine)
- Myth-busters (e.g. red wine has to be at room temperature)
- Eclectic facts and figures relating to wine (e.g. the law that UFOs are officially banned from the vineyards of Châteauneuf-du-Pape).
03
Moderation Wisdom
The concept of drinking in moderation has been around for decades, but it is often caught between stark health advice and sober evangelists who insist that the only way is to quit.
We find that middle ground to separate fact from fiction and offer some useful tips and strategies based on established moderation coaching practices.
Do I need to know a lot about wine already?
In a nutshell, no. We have a unique approach to how we communicate, and we like to meet people where they are with their knowledge rather than make any assumptions.
Here's how we break each article or post down:
How I'd tell a friend
Conversational, direct and free of lecturing. It assumes intelligence but not expertise.
How I'd tell a wine geek / scientist
Professional level of detail, background, nuance. Respects the reader enough not to dumb it down.
